Microsoft 365 Copilot: Wave 2: What to Expect
According to a report by The Verge, Microsoft is likely to rebrand several of its services. For instance, Copilot in Word may become Microsoft 365 Copilot in Word, and Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 could be renamed Microsoft 365 Copilot.
But it’s not just about rebranding. The report also suggests that, since the event is being hosted on LinkedIn, the focus will lean more towards the business side of Microsoft’s Copilot offerings. Microsoft is expected to introduce new Copilot features for Microsoft 365, aimed at businesses.
Additionally, the company is anticipated to announce updates for Copilot Pro, the consumer subscription bundle for its AI offerings.
With Microsoft’s increasing emphasis on AI and Copilot, it’s clear that the way we use our Windows devices is set to change. For instance, the recent announcement to replace the traditional Control Panel with the modern, user-friendly Settings app shows the direction Microsoft is taking.
Apart from that it’s clear that AI is becoming a major component of most business tools. Tech giants like Google with its Gemini, Amazon partnering with Anthropic, and Microsoft with Copilot are also expected to launch new AI solutions tailored for their business users.
We shall see what Microsoft has to offer at the upcoming event, so, stay tuned for all the updates.
