Apple announced iOS 18 back in WWDC24. Since then, it has been available for developers and beta users. But now, the Cupertino giant has rolled out a stable update of its latest operating system to all eligible users. It comes with all the latest bells and whistles, like Apple Intelligence, a Customisable Home Screen, a Redesigned Photos App, and more.
So, in this article, we will talk about how to install the latest iOS 18 update and which iPhones are getting it.
How to Install iOS 18
Prerequisites
- Backup your iPhone data to iCloud or your computer using iTunes or Finder. This will ensure you can restore your data if needed.
- Connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi network and ensure it has at least 50% battery life.
Installing iOS 18
- On the Settings app, Navigate to General. Scroll down and select the General option.
- Look for Software Update and tap to enter.
- You’ll see iOS 18 on the screen if available. 4. Tap the Download button and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
Note: I checked it on my iPhone 13 and the iOS 18 update is available in India.
