WhatsApp has announced the rollout of the filters and background for video calls. The new additions will allow WhatsApp users to change backgrounds during video calls.

The inclusion of filters will allow the user to create a more playful atmosphere in the video calls. There are multiple filters available to create a more artistic feel. The filter options include warm, cool, black and white, light leak, dreamy, prism light, fisheye, vintage TV, frosted glass, and duo ton.
On the other hand, the background can be used to keep your surroundings private and display a cleaner and more polished look. The backgrounds include blur, living room, office, cafe, pebbles, foodie, smoosh, beach, sunset, celebration, and forest. WhatsApp has also introduced touch-up and low-light options to make users more presentable during video calls.
In our testing, the new features are already available on the latest version of WhatsApp on Android. However, the feature is yet to arrive on iOS. To recall, it was being tested for both Android and iOS.
The new features will help users feel more confident and comfortable by enhancing the look and brightness. The features can be accessed by selecting the effects icons on the top right of the screen. The filters and backgrounds are now available and should reach all in the coming weeks.
