Microsoft is setting up the stage to unveil its latest version of Windows 11, theWindows 11 Version 24H2’. While it is expected to arrive on May 20, ahead of its official release, we at MySmartPrice have spotted the update on the Bluetooth SIG certification website.

While the listing on the Bluetooth SIG didn’t reveal any details about the upcoming release, it indicates that the launch is just around the corner.

The update is expected to be the first to support Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon X Series SoC. As a result, several brands are said to unveil their first PCs powered by the Snapdragon X Series chip, which will begin shipping with version 24H2 preloaded once it’s officially unveiled.

The tech giant is already testing many upcoming features through its Insider Canary and Dev Channels. This gives us a fair idea about what is coming with the upcoming Windows 11 Version 24H2 update. So let’s break it down:

Dedicated Copilot Button

Microsoft is expected to give a dedicated Copilot button at the far right corner of the Taskbar, providing easier access to the Copilot. Version 24H2 also has a dedicated “Copilot in Windows” option in the Settings app. This will allow users to enable or disable the Copilot UI from appearing on startup.

The upcoming update also allows users to configure chat providers and third-party plugins.

Better Bluetooth Discoverability

The update is said to improve Bluetooth devices’ discoverability by introducing a “Show all devices” option in the Action Center. Additionally, Version 24H2 will likely offer better Bluetooth Low Energy Audio support, allowing users to control audio presets, adjust volume levels, and monitor device details.

File Explorer

Microsoft loves to tweak itsFile Explorersection, and the upcoming Version 24H2 seems no different. The company File Explorer app is expected to allow the creation of 7zip and TAR compressed archive files in addition to ZIP files.

Quick Settings

The tech giant will also likely change the Quick Settings box on Windows 11. The next update will likely allow users to browse all the available settings instead of being limited to a pre-selected bunch. Users can scroll through the pages to find the needed options and include them in their Quick Panel by simply dragging and dropping. Besides, it is also expected to add a refresh button in the Wi-Fi section, allowing users to refresh their network list quickly.

New Energy Saving Features

Microsoft is expanding its Battery saver mode with the newEnergy Saving Mode’. As the name suggests, this new feature is expected to extend battery-saving capabilities to desktops and laptops. It allows users to optimise their PC’s power consumption without a battery.
